Allan Okello Is The AUPL 2016/17 Best Young Player Of The Year

Allan Okello, the  talented KCCA FC midfielder has been crowned the best young player of the year in the 2016/2017 Azam Uganda Premier League Awards (AUPL)  at a ceremony held on Wednesday at Imperial Royal Hotel, Kampala. He beat Thomas Ikara of Kirinya Jinja SS and also Frank ‘Zagga’ Tumwesigye of Vipers.

The 17 year old young made headlines after his breakthrough in a game where scored for his team, KCCA FC a hat trick against Onduparaka FC.

His award comes with a prize of UGX 500,000.
Meanwhile his team mate Geoffrey Sserunkuma drove home in a SUBARU, model 2005 as the ultimate prize in addition to Ugx. 2 million, after emerging most voted player of the season by fans.  Sserunkuuma  walked away with three top accolades on top of being named in the Best XI.
